How to Use PaddleStacks

1. Getting Started

A few minutes of setup before your first session.

Log in to your dashboard

Use the username and password created during signup. This is your desk terminal — the screen your staff will use during every session.

Set your venue name and skill tiers

Customize how tiers are labeled (e.g. "Beginner" or your own naming) to match how your venue actually organizes players.

Confirm your court setup

Your free trial unlocks everything. After it, the Free plan runs up to 4 courts; paid plans can add as many courts as your venue runs.

2. Adding Players

Three ways to get players onto your roster.

Manual Add All Plans

Type in a player's name (and optionally their Reclub username or phone) directly from the desk screen — the fastest way to add a walk-in.

CSV Import Paid

Upload a spreadsheet of players in bulk — ideal for pre-registered tournament brackets or large group bookings.

Reclub Import Paid

Pull your RSVP list directly from your Reclub event page — no retyping every attendee by hand.

3. Running the Queue

Once players are checked in, PaddleStacks handles the rotation automatically using winners/losers stacking.

After a match, winning players return to a winners queue and losing players return to a losers queue, rather than one single line — a rotation method common at busy pickleball venues. Winners get priority to queue back up first, followed by losers, then any newly-arrived players. As each group fills to four, it's automatically assigned to the next open court within the same tier — keeping games moving quickly while giving winners a natural edge to keep playing. Duo pairing lets two players queue and play together as a pair rather than being split up.

4. Self Check-In Paid

Let players check themselves in without lining up at the desk.

Self Check-In works for players who RSVP'd through Reclub (via "Request to Join") or were added with their Reclub username. If a player was added manually without their Reclub username, they'll check in with staff directly instead.

Display your check-in QR code

Pull it up on a screen or print it out — each club has its own unique code.

Players scan and confirm

A player scans, enters their Reclub username, and confirms their arrival — instantly added to the live queue.

Optional registration

First-time players are prompted to fill in contact details, building your player database over time.

5. Recording Matches

When a match finishes, staff confirm the winner directly on the court's tile.

Win/loss records update instantly, feeding both the live queue's fairness logic and each player's long-term stats. A confirmation step prevents accidental double-recording of the same match.

6. Session Management

Tools for starting, pausing, and wrapping up a session.

Start Next Session Paid

Pre-register players for an upcoming timeslot while the current session keeps running, then promote them in one click when it's time.

Pre-Register from Reclub RSVPs Paid

Import your Reclub event's RSVP list directly into the next session's pre-registration queue — no manual retyping for advance bookings.

Randomize Players

Reset win/loss counts and reshuffle the queue without needing to re-check anyone in — useful for a fresh round with the same group. Pick a single tier or All Tiers; courts must be empty first.

End Session

Archives the session to your history and clears the board for the next one. PIN-protected to prevent accidental resets.

7. Stats & Leaderboards Paid

See who's showing up and who's winning, over time.

Every archived session contributes to each player's running win/loss record and session count. The stats page shows total unique players, new vs. returning players, and full searchable player history — exportable to CSV anytime.

8. Live Court Board All Plans

A real-time public display of your courts, queues, and leaderboards — not just for the TV.

Shows active courts, waiting queues by tier, and top-performer leaderboards — refreshing automatically so players always know what's happening without asking staff. Beyond a venue TV screen, the board has its own shareable link — players can also pull it up on their own phone to check the queue or leaderboard anytime.

9. Plans

Every new club starts with a free trial that unlocks everything, including Venue Pro. After it, you keep the Free plan forever or pick a paid plan.
